New loop generator settings menu in Robo Maestro

Made a really nice addition to Robo Maestro today: I've added a new menu to customise what kind of music you want it to generate! Really fun to just ask it for a bunch of acoustic compositions, or chiptune, or piano!

It's #screenshotsaturday! Here's a really nice Robo Maestro run I played this week! Especially cool is that it generated a really nice melody, which I stored in The Box. Grand Entrance (epic cello song)

Ghost Bats Bus 3D

I've finished making the Ghost Bats space tour bus! I've used this as an exercise to learn modelling in Blender and texturing in Quixel Mixer. I've learned a lot in the process! Ghost Bats is a webcomic by @walterostlie , read it now for free on Webtoon! Series finale coming this weekend!

Paragon robot plays music in Robo Maestro

To try having a big 3D robot in the background I've temporarily thrown an existing model from Paragon into Robo Maestro. Fingers and head animate to the notes of the actual music. Pretty cool already!

Procedurally generated melodies in Robo Maestro

I've added one of the biggest missing pieces to Robo Maestro: generating melodies! It still needs work but it already produces some really nice results, as you can hear here!

Moody music with the new pads in Robo Maestro

Today I've added pads and bass pads to Robo Maestro: long, growling sounds, mostly. Here's a little example of a slow moody song based around them. Robo Maestro is a procedural music toy that I'm developing for PC.

DRUM ROLL PLEASE! New drum rolls feature in Robo Maestro

To add more direct interaction to Robo Maestro I've added a drum roll button and you can hear it in action in the video! It generates a different drum roll every time and always fits with the music. Lots of fun!

Live song editing in Robo Maestro - PROCEDURAL MUSIC!

One of the fun things you can do with Robo Maestro is editing on the beat, and Robo Maestro automatically makes it sound good. Here I'm making a tiny song by switching chords and instruments. I especially like what happens at 0:30.

Robo Maestro is a procedural music toy. It generates music and lets you tweak it, play around with it, make more music, and export it. This video shows a very early version, with temp art and only a fraction of the intended features and musical capabilities. In this early stage it's already a lot of fun to play around with and produces cool music!
